The GIUSP Working Group has now determined that a more consistent, simple and clear advice message for ID and IR situations is appropriate. The review has resulted in a document that delivers one key message to customers of Danger Do Not Use when an unsafe situation is found and for Gas engineers, these situations still fall into two existing categories (ID and AR).Although the GIUSP recognise that registered businesses/engineers will need time to revise their procedures and documentation, as of March 2021 Edition 9 of GIUSP will be the current version. Taking this into account, we are now offering this via pre-order on our website, Gas Safety Book 9th Edition, so that businesses can adopt to this in good time.
